MuleRun Computer

MuleRun Computer is a cloud machine that belongs to you. It runs 24/7, comes pre-installed with a full AI toolchain, remembers what you've taught it, and keeps working when you're off the clock.

Three Defining Traits

• Always-On: stays online in the cloud and remembers earlier context even when idle.
• Proactive Intelligence: it can act on its own — for example, sending you a market briefing every morning at 9 AM.
• Personal Machine: you can name it and pick a "Personality" so it becomes your dedicated assistant.

Who Can Use It?

Free users do not have Computer access. A paid subscription is required.

Common configurations:

• Plus: 2 cores, 4GB.
• Super: 4 cores, 8GB.
• Pro: 8 cores, 16GB.

Actual permissions and resources are subject to the subscription page.

Six Personalities

When you create a Computer you choose a Personality, which shapes its default working style:

• Default: balanced, suitable for everyday workflows.
• Investment: market trends, financial data, portfolios.
• Image Creation: high-quality image and design generation.
• Marketing: ads, copywriting, campaign optimization.
• Coding & Building: pair programming, architecture, debugging.
• Research Report: deep, professional reports.

What Can Computer Do?

• Browser automation: built-in Chrome + Playwright can log in, scrape data, fill forms, click buttons.
• File operations: read, write, edit, compress, download — output syncs into Drive.
• Terminal: the Agent can run bash commands, install dependencies, and execute scripts internally (a user-facing Terminal and sudo are planned but not yet shipped).
• Long-running jobs: deep research tasks lasting hours are fine.
• Persistent memory: software you install, files you store, accounts you log into all stay across sessions.
• MCP servers: built-in mcporter connects to Notion, Gmail, Slack, Discord, Telegram, and more.

Cloud Browser: Auto vs Manual

The Computer's browser has two modes:

• Auto mode: driven by Playwright scripts — fast, ideal for most cases.
• Manual mode (VNC): opens as a remote desktop in your browser. You log in once by hand, and the session persists (cookies stay valid as long as the site allows).

When the Agent hits a captcha, slider, 2FA prompt, or anti-bot wall (Cloudflare, Akamai, etc.), it automatically switches to Manual mode so a human can handle the critical step.

Once you've logged in manually, the session lasts until the target site's cookies naturally expire.

Start / Restart / Update / Delete

• Start / Restart: restart takes about 2 minutes; data is preserved.
• Update Version: the Beta program ships new versions periodically. Click Update Now to migrate data in one shot, or export first if you prefer. Computer is briefly unavailable during the update (a few minutes up to an hour); no data is lost.
• Delete: data is recoverable for 30 days after deletion, then cleared.
• Sleep / Wake Up: when deleted or when a subscription expires, Computer enters a Sleeping state. Click Wake Up to bring it back; the page tells you how many days are left.

Backup & Restore

• Automatic daily backup at 00:00 UTC.
• Manual backups can be created any time.
• The most recent 7 backups are retained.
• Before a restore runs, the system takes one more safety backup so you can undo the operation.

Quick Fix

If the Computer becomes unresponsive or behaves oddly, click the wrench icon at the top right of the Computer page and select Quickfix. It runs a one-click diagnose-and-repair (and restarts the gateway so the latest config takes effect).

IM Channels

You can talk to Computer outside the web app through everyday chat tools:

• Computer Chat Panel: the chat box built into the Computer page.
• Telegram Bot / Discord / WhatsApp / Lark / WeChat and more: hook your Computer into your usual messaging tools and assign tasks from your phone or a group chat.

If you add a new Telegram Bot or other channel and it doesn't start polling immediately, run Quick Fix to restart the gateway.

Built-in Routine Tasks

Computer ships with two routine tasks out of the box:

• Work Summary Task: periodic recap of activity, suggested next steps, workflow improvements.
• Skill-Evolving Task: Agent reviews itself, refines existing skills, suggests new ones.

Frequencies: daily / every 3 days / weekly / custom. Output can be sent in-Computer (Here), to Telegram, or to Discord.

Is SSH Supported?

No. Computer does not support SSH connections.

Are Terminal and sudo Supported?

User-facing Terminal and sudo are on the roadmap but not yet available. Future releases will gradually open these capabilities.

Can I Deploy Third-Party Agents?

We do not recommend deploying AI Agents other than the officially provided Agent in MuleRun Computer. Third-party Agents may cause configuration conflicts or make Computer go offline.

Do Scheduled Tasks Require the Browser to Stay Open?

No. On any paid subscription, correctly configured scheduled tasks usually run on schedule without keeping the browser or the Computer page open. See Scheduled Tasks.
