MuleRun Computer

MuleRun Computer is a persistent cloud machine that belongs to you. It has its own disk and workspace, so the files you save and the environment you set up persist long-term. It is backed up automatically every day and can be restored, and it is the runtime that your Scheduled Tasks run on.

What You Can Do

• Computer Chat: operate the machine in natural language — run jobs, install things, ask it to manage files.
• Files: browse, preview, upload, and download the files on your Computer.
• Settings: manage the instance — Reboot, Delete, Upgrade, Update Version, and choose a personality.
• Channels: connect IM tools (Telegram, Discord, Feishu/Lark, WeChat, WhatsApp) so you can talk to Computer from chat.
• What's New: receive update prompts and apply new versions when they ship.

Tasks can also be dispatched from a Super Agent Task: Super Agent sends commands to Computer via its CLI — for example creating a Computer, configuring a Channel, or creating a Scheduled Task. The work is actually executed on Computer.

Who Can Use It?

Free users do not have Computer access; a paid subscription is required. Different paid tiers map to different machine specs (for example 2c4g, 4c8g, 8c12g). To change specs, switch your plan and then run Upgrade in Settings — there is no standalone spec selector. Some advanced capabilities (such as Scheduled Tasks) require Plus or above. Actual specs and permissions are subject to the subscription page.

Six Personalities

When you create a Computer you choose a personality, which shapes its default working style:

• General: balanced, suitable for everyday workflows.
• Investment: market trends, financial data, portfolios.
• Image Creation: high-quality image and design generation.
• Marketing: ads, copywriting, campaign optimization.
• Coding & Building: pair programming, architecture, debugging.
• Research & Report: deep, professional reports.

Files

The Files panel lets you work with everything stored on your Computer:

• Browse and preview: text, images, audio/video, and PDF preview inline; oversized or unsupported files show a prompt instead.
• Upload files into the Computer.
• Download a single file, or use Download all files as zip.

The Files panel does not support delete, rename, or creating a new file/folder directly in the UI. To do those, ask the agent in Computer Chat.

Settings

Manage the instance from Settings:

• Reboot: forces an OS restart (up to about 2 minutes); data is kept.
• Delete: powers off the Computer. It stays recoverable or re-creatable for 30 days; after 30 days the data is deleted.
• Upgrade: applies the spec change for your current plan. The Computer is unavailable for up to about 1 hour; data is kept.
• Update Version: a Beta major upgrade — smarter and cheaper on Credits. It migrates your data and remains recoverable.
• Choose a personality: set or change the personality (see above).

Built-in Skills

The agent comes with a built-in skill set that roughly matches Super Agent's, loaded automatically as needed — for example channel connectors, document handling (docx, pdf, pptx, xlsx), finance analysis, image and video generation, frontend design, browser automation (playwright), and news briefings. A vnc-browser skill makes login-required tasks smoother and preserves your login state across sessions, so you usually don't have to log in again.

Backup & Restore

• Automatic backup runs daily at 00:00 UTC, plus a safety backup before each restore.
• You can run Create Backup manually at any time.
• The most recent 7 backups are kept.
• A Restore runs in five steps: safety backup, stop the instance, reset the system disk, reset the data disk, then start. Backups are tagged Auto or Manual.

Channels

Connect IM tools — Telegram, Discord, Feishu (Lark), WeChat, WhatsApp — simply by talking to the agent in Computer Chat; there is no separate config panel. Once connected, a channel becomes available as a "Send to" target in Scheduled Tasks. See Channels.

Quick Fix

If the Computer becomes unresponsive or behaves oddly, open the wrench icon at the top right of the Computer page and select Quickfix. It runs a one-click diagnose-and-repair (and restarts the gateway so the latest config takes effect). If you add a new channel and it doesn't start polling immediately, run Quick Fix.

Is SSH Supported?

No. Computer does not support SSH connections.

Are Terminal and sudo Supported?

The agent can run shell commands internally, but a user-facing Terminal and sudo are on the roadmap and not yet available. Future releases will gradually open these capabilities.

Can I Deploy Third-Party Agents?

We do not recommend deploying AI Agents other than the officially provided Agent in MuleRun Computer. Third-party Agents may cause configuration conflicts or make Computer go offline.

Do Scheduled Tasks Require the Browser to Stay Open?

No. On any paid subscription, correctly configured scheduled tasks usually run on schedule without keeping the browser or the Computer page open. See Scheduled Tasks.
